Guru Kripa is Residence on the upper floors & a Dance Studio on the ground floor. The House is divided into multiple layers, both vertically and in horizontal planning. A double-height, sky-lit, Dining Hall form the heart of the home. All of the spaces open onto this space, connecting everyone in the home. The palette replicates traditionally used materials like the Kota stone, Jaisalmer stone and Athankudi tiles; by using similar vitrified tiles.
The process
The process began with a rigorous interview process of the enter family. Followed by a presentation along with physical models of the house. Once the concept design plan was approved, it was signed on and followed throughout the project.
