The residence is a 4 Bedroom Villa located in Thiruchengodu, Tamil Nadu. Deep overhands, and porches have been designed to counter the scorching heat of the region. The language adapted is a minimal style. A double height living room forms the heart of the home, connecting all the spaces together.
The process
The house is built from an old pre-independence mill structure. The foundation and part of the ground floor is built of Random Rubble Stone Construction. The structure is a loadbearing setup with brick walls as the core component.
